What the website collects

The V1 website has no user accounts, public form, advertising, advertising script or profiling tool.

The website does not deploy browser-side audience measurement requiring your consent. The hosting infrastructure may nevertheless generate standard technical logs needed to operate and secure the service.

Messages sent by email

When you write to contact@latourgrise.org, the data you choose to provide may include your identity, contact details, message content, attachments and technical information associated with the email.

These data are used to receive, assess and answer your enquiry, consider a proposal for contribution or cooperation, manage follow-up correspondence and, where necessary, retain evidence of a request or agreement.

  • Primary legal basis: the Association’s legitimate interest in managing correspondence addressed to it.
  • Where your request directly concerns the preparation of a specific agreement or relationship, processing may also be necessary in order to take steps at your request before entering into that agreement.
  • Where required by law, certain data may be retained in order to comply with a legal obligation or to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

Technical hosting logs

The hosting provider may generate technical logs containing information such as the IP address, date and time of a request, requested resource, browser or device information and the server response code.

These data are used for website operation, security, incident detection and technical diagnosis. The Association does not use them for advertising or profiling.

Retention periods

  • General correspondence that does not lead to an ongoing relationship: up to 12 months after the last useful exchange.
  • Where an exchange leads to a contribution, cooperation, agreement or other continuing relationship, the data needed for that relationship are retained for as long as necessary for its management and thereafter in accordance with applicable legal, administrative or evidential requirements.
  • Technical logs are retained according to the hosting service and its configuration. In V1, the Association does not organise additional long-term retention of those logs unless required for security or by law.

Recipients

Data are accessible only to authorised persons within the Association where necessary to handle the relevant matter. Technical providers used for hosting or email may also process certain data strictly in connection with the services they provide.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions laid down by applicable law, you may request access to your personal data, rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests and, where the legal conditions are met, exercise a right to data portability.

To exercise your rights, write to contact@latourgrise.org and state the nature of your request. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (CNIL).

Cookies and trackers

The V1 website does not use advertising cookies, profiling trackers or browser-side audience measurement cookies requiring prior consent.

If this changes, this page will be updated and, where required by law, an appropriate consent mechanism will be implemented before the relevant trackers are activated.

Security

The Association applies technical and organisational measures proportionate to the nature of the website and the data processed in order to limit unauthorised access, loss or accidental disclosure.
